Copper Heatsink Corrosion Does Arctic Silver 5 Really Corrode Copper Surfaces?

Does Arctic Silver 5 really corrode copper surfaces? - copper heatsink corrosion

I honed my CPU and heatsink and I think that the bare copper. I avoid reading that unpolished copper sinks a mixture of other metals to corrosion, but sand down to me, and I think it's just bare copper ... Will Arctic Silver 5 thermal compound corrosion of copper blank?

No, but be sure to clean the copper surface and to prevent fingerprints and oil from attacking the skin.

Would not it be done better with sandpaper, to ensure that no deep scratches in copper. The smoother the surface of the heat-transfer is best achieved.
